Designed for receiving 10 kV, 50 Hz electrical power and transforming it to 0.4/0,8 kV voltage for distribution to users; this is an outdoor service transformer substation connected to external networks via underground cables.
The substation consists of a reinforced concrete foundation and a metal enclosure with a removable roof. The substation is divided into six sections separated by partitions: two 10 kV compartments, two power transformer compartments, two 0.4/0.8 kV compartments.

Installed with SF6 gas insulation, compliant with standards LST EN 62271-1, LST EN 62271-100, LST EN 62271-200, ABB SAFE PLUS or SAFE RING, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC RM6 or FBX, SIEMENS 8DJH switchgear; location for mounting the TSPĮ panel.
Two sites with oil collection pits , three phases, for hermetic oil-immersed transformers; (≤1500x1000x1800mm) up to 1600 kVA.
Two busbar sections; Two incoming fuse-switch blocks and/or automatic circuit breakers; Sectional fuse-switch block and/or automatic circuit breaker; Space for control metering; Space for commercial metering (KAS); Designated space for linear fuse-switch blocks and/or automatic circuit breakers; Aluminum (Al) or Copper (Cu) busbars with pressed-in bushings (for convenient mounting of fuse-switch blocks); Auxiliary panel (SRS).

Plug socket ~230V with grounding contacts, protected by RCCB and 1-phase C16A circuit breaker; 1-phase C6A circuit breaker for protection of 10 kV short-circuit indicator power supply; 1-phase C6A circuit breaker for lighting protection; 1-phase C16 circuit breaker for protection of TSPĮ equipment power supply.
One location (three-phase) is allocated for the control electrical metering device and test terminal in the 0.4/0,8 kV distribution equipment compartment; upon order, current transformers are installed and connected.
The power transformer is loaded from the top by removing the roof. The transformer is placed on wheels into designated fixed positions that prevent movement. MV – Medium Voltage compartment with equipment; LV – Low Voltage compartment with equipment; KAS – Commercial metering.
