The project aims to promote the development of renewable energy sources (AEI) by investing in a solar power plant. The implementation of AEI will reduce electricity costs as well as the amounts of greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, methane) and other air-polluting emissions released into the environment. This project will not only reduce expenses but also position the company as a contributor to mitigating the effects of climate change.

With the growing global demand for energy, traditional energy resources are depleting, and their use harms the environment. The development of renewable energy sources (AEI) is an attractive alternative to conventional energy.

The project’s goal is to increase the production and use of renewable energy sources (AEI).

Project activities – UAB 'Armetlina' will implement energy efficiency measures – a solar power plant – aiming for a total renewable energy production of 225 MWh per year.

The total project value is €205,777.50, of which €109,394.25 is allocated from the European Regional Development Fund.

The project commenced on July 19, 2023, and will be completed by July 31, 2025.
